Kali
| Kali, meaning time, is a Hindu Warrior Goddess associated with death and killing. Being a pacifist myself, I think of this figuratively, as in killing the demons of injustice, or deceit. Kali is one of Durga's nine aspects. When Durga is riding her tiger (or lion) and slaying demons, she transforms into Kali at the last moment to give the death blow. Kali has many followers especially in India. She is revered for her powerful nature. |
