Pre-Colombian Winged Goddess with Worry Dolls

I bought this lovely replica of a Pre-Colombian statue at a festival from, well, I forget, but it is a lovely cast stone piece.

So one day I was feeling sorry for my little Guatemalan Worry Dolls....they come in a tiny coffin-like box and you are only supposed to let them out when you feel like dumping your problems on them.

But who comforts the Worry Dolls?, I worried. Then in a flash of inspiration I decided this Winged Goddess is their ancestral mother. They just fit in her lap, and they seem much happier in their new home.

I drew this with pastels and added a jungle river
to help float all worries away.
