A Taste of UU Womenspirit ---August 26 Workshop Schedule |

10:30-11:20
am Touch Drawing
Marilyn Grubbs Touch Drawing is a reflective, intuitive art medium designed to connect you with whatever is ready to be expressed from within yourself. You will use your fingers directly on the paper which has paint spread underneath. I sometimes describe it as "finger painting without the mess", but with the same freedom and expressive energy! 10:30-11:20
am Nature, Spirit and Imagination
Sue-Anne Solem We will saunter (literally “holy or sacred earth,” as John Muir used the term) together in nature, stopping here and there to sit and reflect, write and/or draw, and share as we are willing.
This
practice combines breath
work, gentle movement, stretching, and a guided meditation designed to
open
your Root Chakra & soothe your nervous system. Learn tips to
support a
repeated practice which will help deepen your connection to body and
spirit,
cultivate gratitude, joy, and more.
Take
on the power and postures of
26 goddesses from around the world. This moving meditation has a spoken
affirmation and is designed to develop flexibility, grace, strength,
balance
and a positive self-image. Please wear clothes you can move freely in,
and bring
a yoga mat if you have one. |
