A few days after Sept 11, I saw this photo in my paper of Pakistani
militant Muslims which set me on an information quest. I took their challenge to heart.
The young man is about my son's age. I know Americans are also loved and envied around the world, but it seemed important to listen to those who hate us. I began my research in Google, and immediately found a wealth of information. Some of the links on this page may lead to biased views. But it seems to me American TV and magazines are biased too. | This photo of a boy balloon seller was taken during the war. It seems like life goes on and people find joy even under horrendous conditions. This gives me hope. I present this in the spirit of listening with a compassionate heart. Direct information gathering from sources in Afghanistan and the Middle East may lead to truth and justice beneath the opposing views. -Susan Baylies |
